The Kiel belt alpha is an asteroid belt in the Kiel system, United Empire of Earth (UEE). Located between Severus (Kiel III), and Kiel IV, it was used as a training ground by the UEE military during the Xi'an-Human Cold War (SEY 2530 - 2793). Many of its asteroids bear scars from being used as target practice.
