Charon 2a

Charon 2a is the innermost moon of Charon II, United Empire of Earth (UEE). Unusually for a moon of its small size, it has a thin atmosphere generated by high volcanic and seismic activity. An independent band of mercenaries attempted to establish a base on Charon 2a in the late 2800s, but were forced to abandon it after it was destroyed in a powerful series of earthquakes.
